Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program

MMAP, Inc. is a free health-benefit counseling service. Our goal is to both senior citizens and individuals with disabilities find their way through the health benefits maze. MMAP accomplishes its mission through MMAP sites housed in regional Area Agencies on Aging, County Departments on Aging, Senior Services Agencies, Commissions on Aging and other similar organizations located throughout Michigan.

Michigan Community Dental Clinics

Michigan Community Dental Clinics has several dental clinics located throughout the state that provide dental services to adults and children on Medicaid, as well as low-income, non-insured individuals. Non-Medicaid patients are provided dental services at a reduced fee.

Center for Adolescent and Child Neurology

General Neurology
Evaluation of the following diagnosis:
Evaluation of seizures (Febrile and New-onset seizures)
Epilepsy diagnosis and treatment
Headaches and Migraines
Cerebral Palsy
Developmental delays, ADHD, Autism and learning disorders
Movement disorders
Tourette syndrome
Several staff member are bilingual - English/Spanish
Medicaid accepted

Medical, vision, dental, behavioral and spiritual care services offered at this community clinic. Pediatric services available including developmental screenings at well child check appointments. Assistance applying for health insurance/sliding fee scale available for those who qualify.

Children’s Waiver Program

The Children's Waiver Program is a federal entitlement program that provides Medicaid funded home and community-based services to children with developmental disabilities and who have challenging behaviors and/or complex medical needs. This waiver provides services to support the family so that the child can remain at home with his/her family.

Michigan Department of Health and Human Services

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services provides many services and programs to Michigan citizens. Services include medical services, mental health services, services for individuals with disabilities and much more.

Serious Emotional Disturbances Waiver (SEDW)

The Children's Serious Emotional Disturbances Waiver (SEDW) provides services that are enhancements or additions to Medicaid State Plan coverage for children through age 20 with SED. The SEDW is a fee-for-service program administered by the Community Mental Health Services Programs (CMHSP) in some Michigan counties. All eligibility requirements and coverage areas are listed on the site.

Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment

Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment Children enrolled in Medicaid are entitled to a comprehensive array of preventive and ameliorative care through the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) benefit. Beyond the indecipherable acronym, EPSDT is a critically important benefit that is broadly recognized as the definitive standard for children.
