Project SEARCH

The State of Michigan Project SEARCH is a program that is providing local high school students with disabilities the opportunity to train, gain and maintain employment through businesses and organization opportunities across the nation. This is the first year the program is offered at the State and we've taken a big step forward in creating more opportunities for people with disabilities and we look forward to the future growth of Project SEARCH within state government.

Michigan Dyslexia Institute

Dyslexia is an invisible problem with language that is present at birth and continues throughout life for those with it. Without recognition and appropriate instruction, children with dyslexia will struggle with, or fail to read and write; this is in spite of their average or in many cases, above average intelligence. MDI has been successfully teaching children with dyslexia for over 33 years. Providing remedial and preventative instruction, we have helped thousands of children with dyslexia. Includes camp program, Camp Starlight.
