The annual Autism Hero Walk raises funds for crucial programming in the state of Michigan. Autism Alliance of Michigan is leading Michigan on the path to becoming a top 5 state in which to raise a child with autism. The Walk begins with an energetic opening ceremony followed by a 1-mile walk through the Detroit Zoo. Immediately following the walk, attendees are encouraged to enjoy a day at the Zoo and post-walk activities at the events pavilion.
