Autism Alliance of Michigan Autism Hero Walk

The annual Autism Hero Walk raises funds for crucial programming in the state of Michigan. Autism Alliance of Michigan is leading Michigan on the path to becoming a top 5 state in which to raise a child with autism. The Walk begins with an energetic opening ceremony followed by a 1-mile walk through the Detroit Zoo. Immediately following the walk, attendees are encouraged to enjoy a day at the Zoo and post-walk activities at the events pavilion.

Renew Therapeutic Riding Center

Renew Therapeutic Riding Center provides equine assisted activities and therapies to children and adults with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities. Through the programs offered by Renew, our riders see improvement in balance, flexibility, strength and muscle tone. Riders also achieve cognitive, social and emotional development resulting in increased self-esteem and independence.

Eton Academy

Eton Academy educates students with reading, attention & other learning challenges such as dyslexia, ADHD, auditory processing, reading deficiencies, dyscalculia, non-verbal learning differences, and dysgraphia. The academy also offers a theme based summer camp program for students from any school with learning challenges
