MSU Gymnastics Event Mid Michigan Autism Association – Ingham County

Wow, this is the third time Michigan State University has reached out to us with the offer of FREE tickets!!!

We currently have General Admission tickets to the MSU Women’s Gymnastics vs. Ohio State.

The meet starts on January 27th at 4 PM and will be at the Jenison Field House located at 223 Kalamazoo Street in East Lansing. We have been assured that the parking is free.

Free Family Yoga – Ingham County

The class will be led by Sabrina Adleman, a registered advanced 500-hour yoga instructor. Sabrina has been offering yoga classes for over 5 years in the Lansing area and has observed the powerful impact yoga can have on people. You can learn more about Sabrina at unearthyourbalance.com.

This family yoga class provides a wonderful environment to connect while spending quality time together. You will observe and support each other in partner poses, learn to connect breath with movement, and have family fun!

No yoga experience is required, but please wear comfortable clothes.

Please join us on Saturday, February 2 from 12 – 1 PM at the Alchemy Studio located at 2321 Jolly Road in Okemos.

This class is recommended for those six years old and over and will be limited to 20 people.

Serious Emotional Disturbances Waiver (SEDW)

The Children's Serious Emotional Disturbances Waiver (SEDW) provides services that are enhancements or additions to Medicaid State Plan coverage for children through age 20 with SED. The SEDW is a fee-for-service program administered by the Community Mental Health Services Programs (CMHSP) in some Michigan counties. All eligibility requirements and coverage areas are listed on the site.

Michigan State University's Community Music School provides a creative and welcoming environment where music experiences, education, and therapy services inspire individuals at all ability levels and stages of life to achieve their personal best. Bureau of Services for Blind Persons

The Michigan Bureau of Services for Blind Persons (BSBP) is dedicated to providing opportunities for employment and independent living to blind individuals. If you live in Michigan and you're blind or visually impaired, the Bureau of Services for Blind Persons will work with you to define your goals and identify appropriate training and other services. Depending upon your needs and eligibility for specific services, BSBP may also provide some types of adaptive equipment, computer software, and postsecondary education.

Children and Horses United in Movement Therapeutic Riding

Children and Horses United in Movement Therapeutic Riding (CHUM) offers a multifaceted program beyond the arena of therapeutic riding and hippotherapy. CHUM offers the opportunity to participate in horse shows at multiple levels with an integrated 4H club where non-horse owning members use program horses to participate in 4H at both the local and state level. CHUM also assists clients in participating in dressage shows, clinics, educational events, and research both here and in other facilities.
