The Trenton Special Needs Activities Program (SNAP) is a six-week summer camp program that serves 30 youths with cognitive impairments living in the downriver area. The program meets Monday through Friday, 8:45 a.m.-2:45 p.m., and provides the participants with educational and recreational activities within the community and Detroit Metro area.
We provide a comprehensive range of therapies, assessments, and specialty programs to help children and families impacted by delays in development (language, physical, social); A need for Physical, Occupational, Speech- Language or Music Therapies; Autism Spectrum Disorder; Sensory Processing Issues; Behavior Issues; Learning/Academic; Challenges finding the right preschool or kindergarten program.
United Cerebral Palsy of Metro Detroit’s QuickRamps for Kids program provides free portable wheelchair ramps to families of children who experience Cerebral Palsy and other paralysis-causing conditions.
