Parent to Parent USA

Parent to Parent USA defines parent to parent support as the intentional connection between a trained volunteer Support Parent and a parent seeking information, resources, guidance, and support from an experienced parent. Parent to Parent programs facilitate parent "matches" and provide follow-up support to assure the matched relationship meets peer expectations.

National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome

NOFAS works to prevent prenatal exposure to alcohol, drugs, and other substances known to harm fetal development by raising awareness and supporting women before and during their pregnancy, and supports individuals, families, and communities living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs) and other preventable intellectual/developmental disabilities. Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council

The fundamental goal of the DD Council is to ensure that people with developmental disabilities have the opportunities and support to achieve their full potential and life dreams. The Council consists of 21 Michigan residents appointed by the Governor. The Council provides funding and leadership to the statewide Regional Inclusive Community Coalitions (RICCs) which promote advocacy, capacity building, and systemic change.

Disability Network/Michigan represents the collective voice of Michigan's 15 Centers for Independent Living (CILs). Our focus is on leadership development, relationship building, effective communication and mobilizing around issues that will have the greatest impact on delivering high-quality independent living services to people with disabilities.

Autism Support of Michigan

The mission of the Autism Support of Michigan is to assure full participation and self-determination in every aspect of life for each individual. We will realize this vision by opening avenues of self-advocacy and advocating on behalf of others in a way that values equity, respect, dignity and diversity in all communities. ASM is committed to empowering individuals with autism and their families by offering educational resources and materials, workshops, seminars and other services.
