Student Advocacy Center

The Student Advocacy Center of Michigan has been a voice for students since 1975. SAC works to assist our most vulnerable students stay in school, realize their rights to a quality public education, and experience success. Our services include education advocacy and support, education mentoring (Check and Connect), youth voice, and family support. We believe all students deserve a quality public education and that educators deserve the resources, respect and support to make that happen.

West Michigan Spina Bifida Organization

Our organization strives to provide families affected by Spina Bifida a support system that fosters a strong sense of community, raises awareness of the condition, advocates for each unique individual's highest level of independence, and creates partnerships that promote Spina Bifida in a positive light. Members have access to a wide variety of events, resources, and scholarships.

Hospice of Michigan’s Anchors Programs for Children

When it's your child, when it seems like the world has stopped - we're here. Anchors Programs for Children exists for one reason: to support children and families facing a potentially life-limiting illness. Whether offering a child the comfort of a pediatric nurse, supporting a family's unique needs, or extending emotional support to loved ones, we never stop finding ways to care. Following a nonprofit mission to serve all no matter what, we're more than a symbol of support. We're an anchor when it's needed most.

DeafBlind Central

DeafBlind Central (DB Central) maintains the belief that individuals who are DeafBlind share equally in the respect, opportunity, and life enjoyment afforded to all individuals. DB Central are committed to advancing the recognition of the unique needs presented by DeafBlindness by promoting individualized, systematic instruction and family-centered planning processes. DB Central serves children and young adults age birth through twenty-one who are suspected of having both a hearing AND a vision loss or difficulty in processing auditory and visual information. Young adults ages twenty-two to twenty-six who are DeafBlind will receive referral services to adult service agencies.

The mission of the Michigan Association for the Education of Young Children is to promote high-quality early learning for all children, birth through age 8, by connecting practice, policy, and research. We advance a diverse, dynamic early childhood profession and support all who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children.
