The Capital Area College Access Network (CapCAN) is a collaborative community network dedicated to increasing the college attainment rate of the Capital Area. CapCAN’s mission is to increase college and post secondary readiness, participation, and completion. CapCAN targets support and services to low-income, communities of color, and first-generation students.

Opportunities for music education and music therapy are available to people of all ages with special needs. Through music programming at CMS, individuals with special needs have found joy, new friendships, and have made progress in the acquisition of motor, verbal, communication and social skills through music.

Origami Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center provides comprehensive brain injury treatment from residential (18 years and older), Day Program, Outpatient, and Community Based Programs for individuals who have sustained a traumatic brain injury. We utilize a holisitic, interdisciplinary team approach to treating brain injury.

CAMW partnerS with businesses to develop recruiting and retention strategies, and they partner with job seekers to enhance education and career opportunities. Capital Area Michigan Works! has three Job Centers in Charlotte, Lansing and St. Johns that provide mid-Michigan employers and career seekers with the best resources to fulfill their employment needs.
All Faith Ministry for disABILITIES
The All Faith Ministry for disABILITIES (AFMD) is dedicated to serving all persons with birth or life incurred disabilities and their families. AFMD provides resources that connect people to community programs and where possible add to services that are not being addressed, such as respite care and adaptive technology. AFMD is not connected to or controlled by any religious organization.
