The Student Advocacy Center of Michigan has been a voice for students since 1975. SAC works to assist our most vulnerable students stay in school, realize their rights to a quality public education, and experience success. Our services include education advocacy and support, education mentoring (Check and Connect), youth voice, and family support. We believe all students deserve a quality public education and that educators deserve the resources, respect and support to make that happen.

Autism Support of Kent County
Autism Support of Kent County (ASK) works to provide services that make it possible for individuals with autism to lead healthier and more productive lives! ASK funds programs, worth over $40,000 annually, for individuals affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families! Current programs include Music Therapy, funds for disadvantaged students in our ASD classrooms, Special Olympics basketball and/or poly hockey teams, and recreational outings (Holiday Party, Summer Picnic, Easter Egg Hunt and other family events).

Comprehensive Therapy Center
Comprehensive Therapy Center (CTC) provides Speech Language Pathology, Sensory and Motor Therapies to West Michigan children and adults with special needs. CTC's mission is to meet the therapeutic and educational needs of adults and children with disabilities who are at-risk or disadvantaged, through skill building, academic enhancement and social emotional support. Some of our unique program offerings are: Special Education Services to Schools, Therapy and Fun summer therapy program, Tutoring program, Therapy Services to Mental Health and Social, Service Agencies, Foreign Accent Reduction Therapy, and Home Safety Evaluations.

Advocacy Services for Kids
Advocacy Services for Kids (ASK) assists families and their children who have mood, emotional, and behavioral challenges to understand and navigate services, advocate effectively, and achieve their potential. ASK offers opportunities for youth with emotional, behavioral, and mood disorders to be empowered to impact youth services locally, within the state of Michigan, and nationally through it's Calling All Youth M.O.V.E. program. This service is available to high school aged youth in Kalamazoo County who want to speak up and be heard by adults, teachers, govenmental agencies, therapists, counselors, juvenille justice, schools, and other authority figures in their life.
Adaptive Social Program Providing Instruction, Recreation, and Enrichment of Mid-Michigan
Adaptive Social Program Providing Instruction, Recreation, and Enrichment (ASPPIRE) provides support services and programs to adults with disabilities. Many of the participants in ASPPIRE are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); however, they also work with individuals with other disabilities such as mental illness, learning disabilities, or developmental disabilities. Through social coaching programs, Person Centered Planning, and connections to community resources, ASPPIRE aims to help participants lead functional and productive lives.

Athletes with Disabilities Network - Northeast (ADN) mission is to promote a better quality of life for people with physical disabilities, especially for veterans and first responders by mentoring and creating awareness and offering opportunities for local athletic, recreational and educational activities. Programs include the Athletes with Disabilities Hall of Fame, Extremity Games, Mentoring & Outreach, Academic Scholarships and the Adaptive Sports Coalition.
Capital Area College Access Network
The Capital Area College Access Network (CapCAN) is a collaborative community network dedicated to increasing the college attainment rate of the Capital Area. CapCAN's mission is to increase college and post secondary readiness, participation, and completion. CapCAN targets support and services to low-income, communities of color, and first-generation students.
