Serious Emotional Disturbances Waiver (SEDW)

The Children's Serious Emotional Disturbances Waiver (SEDW) provides services that are enhancements or additions to Medicaid State Plan coverage for children through age 20 with SED. The SEDW is a fee-for-service program administered by the Community Mental Health Services Programs (CMHSP) in some Michigan counties. All eligibility requirements and coverage areas are listed on the site.

IEP Webinar Series- Kent County

The Conductive Learning Center (CLC) serves children birth to age 26 with motor disorders related to complications of prematurity, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida or brain injury. Conductive education methodology has a transformative effect on mobility and independence. CLC uses a holistic and intensive approach that combines medical knowledge with educational methods.

Lights Up Sound Down-Sensory Friendly Movies at Goodrich Quality Theaters

A monthly program, hosted by Goodrich Quality Theaters, open to everyone, but specifically giving families & children with Autism and sensory issues the opportunity to enjoy their favorite movies in a comfortable, sensory - friendly setting with the lights turned up and volume turned down in the auditorium.

Free Health Clinics of Michigan

Free Clinics of Michigan (FCOM) is a network of volunteer-staffed free clinics that provide health care services to the uninsured or medically underserved within the State of Michigan.


Camp ALEC is a literacy camp for children with physical disabilities who use AAC devices to communicate. The camp offers regular recreational activities and also daily work on literacy- related activities taught by educational specialists. Offers 1 on 1 care if needed.

Cannonsburg Challenged Ski Association

Cannonsburg Challenged Ski Association (CCSA) provides lessons and the use of adaptive downhill ski equipment to people with disabilities in West Michigan at the Cannonsburg Ski Area. By developing the unique abilities of each skier, CCSA fosters a level of self confidence that carries over into other aspects of life. Participants learn to do things they thought were impossible.
