FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization that provides services for people of all ages who have physical, intellectual and/or emotional challenges. FAR also promotes public understanding of the abilities and potential of people with such challenges.
No More Sidelines
No More Sidelines is a non-profit organization, run by volunteers, committed to helping children and young adults with special needs in our community. We provide children and young adults with special needs, ages seven and older, an opportunity to play sports year round and to participate in community events and outings.
The Davies Project for Mid-Michigan Children
The Davies Project for Mid Michigan Children provides community-based, non-medical support to local families with really sick kids. It helps families in Greater Lansing and surrounding areas by providing rides to subspecialty appointments. The Davies Project offers help to children (and their families) treated at all subspecialty clinics in Lansing.
S.P.E.A.K.S. Education
SPEAKS Education's mission is to collaborate with families of children with disabilities and provide them with the knowledge and skills to ensure that their children's rights are protected under federal and State laws, regulations. We provide services to families with children having disabilities ages 0-26 years of age.
Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding
The Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding improves quality of life through equine-based therapy to physically, mentally and socially/emotionally challenged individuals. Our unique program integrates academic, social and physical skills, using the horse as a catalyst.

Child Care Aware of America works with more than 400 state and local Child Care Resource and Referral agencies nationwide. Child Care Aware of America's vision is that every family in the United States has access to a high quality, affordable child care system. The child care system supports children's growth, development and educational advancement and creates positive economic impact for families and communities.

The Student Advocacy Center of Michigan has been a voice for students since 1975. SAC works to assist our most vulnerable students stay in school, realize their rights to a quality public education, and experience success. Our services include education advocacy and support, education mentoring (Check and Connect), youth voice, and family support. We believe all students deserve a quality public education and that educators deserve the resources, respect and support to make that happen.
Autism Society of Oakland County
The Autism Society of Oakland County (ASOC) is an advocacy organization that works to improve the lives of those impacted by autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Oakland County, Michigan. ASOC mission is to advocate and support meaningful participation in all aspects of life for individuals with ASD and their families. One one of the support elements ASOC provides is the ASOC Online Community. The free community was created to provide a safe place for individuals withASD and their families to connect, share stories, support each other and build lasting friendships.
Artists Creating Together
Artists Creating Together (ACT) empowers individuals with disabilities to learn, grow, and celebrate through the arts. ACT specially trained instructors are professional working artists who provide unique programming to students with differing needs in a variety of settings. From partnership with local rehabilitation hospitals to community-wide educational events, ACT provides art and creative expression programming and classes that enrich and improve the lives of people with disabilities in every corner of West Michigan.
