Developmental Enhancement Behavioral Health

Developmental Enhancement (DE) Behavioral Health provides a wide array of behavioral health services for children and adolescents who may be experiencing developmental, behavioral or emotional difficulties. DE’s psychologists and social workers specialize in working with children, and have extensive training and a high level of expertise in both assessment and treatment. DE’s services are well-founded in an in-depth knowledge of how children develop and grow over time.

Giving Tree Farm

Giving Tree started 12 years ago as a community garden for people with disabilities. The farm is now owned and operated by Community Based Interventions. CBI runs a vocational training and rehabilitation program on the farm site. Monday through Friday people who have suffered Traumatic Brain Injuries help grow fresh & healthy produce for CSA members, area restaurants, the East Lansing Food Co-op and local farmer’s markets.

Asthma Network of West Michigan

The Asthma Network of West Michigan (ANWM) is the local asthma coalition serving West Michigan. ANWM provides two levels of service: 1) Home-based case management of children and adults with uncontrolled asthma or adults with COPD; and 2) Community education support for health care professionals and school personnel regarding managing asthma in under-served populations.

Disability Service Resource Center

The Disability Services Resource Center (DSRC), formerly known as the Bay County Society for Crippled Children and Adults serves individuals who are temporarily and permanently disabled by helping them remain and/or become part of their community to the fullest extent of their ability. DSRC offers five main programs through the organization that are at no cost to the consumer. The five main programs are Ramp Building, Campership, Disability Awareness Training, Medical Loan Closet, Adaptive Sports/Sporting events.

Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan (CLF) is a statewide organization that provides education, financial assistance and emotional support to Michigan families affected by leukemia, lymphoma and related blood disorders. CLF offers a variety of services that help to meet the needs of its patients and families. The mission of Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan is to provide and promote compassionate, personalized support to adults and children in Michigan affected by leukemia, lymphoma and other blood related disorders.
