Deaf Community Advocacy Network (DEAF C.A.N.!) provides services to the thousands of Deaf and Hard of Hearing people living in our area. DEAF C.A.N.! offers direct client services to individuals and families, as well as community education and information for professional groups. DEAF C.A.N.! provides a full array of services to the Deaf & Hard of Hearing communities in southeastern Michigan.
Comprehensive Therapy Center (CTC) provides Speech Language Pathology, Sensory and Motor Therapies to West Michigan children and adults with special needs. CTC’s mission is to meet the therapeutic and educational needs of adults and children with disabilities who are at-risk or disadvantaged, through skill building, academic enhancement and social emotional support. Some of our unique program offerings are: Special Education Services to Schools, Therapy and Fun summer therapy program, Tutoring program, Therapy Services to Mental Health and Social, Service Agencies, Foreign Accent Reduction Therapy, and Home Safety Evaluations.

BOB is a marketing tool to help individuals with barriers to employment, get a leg up to find their sense of purpose in society. Utilizing online profiles, featuring dynamic video resumes, individuals are able to showcase their abilities and break through stigmas that a simple paper resume or even face to face interview cannot.
The Disability Awareness Training is an in-person, hands-on training course designed to educate people on how to interact and communicate with people with disabilities and to learn the difficulties and challenges facing people with disabilities. Program participants will learn the special needs of different disabilities: Mobility – permanent and temporary; Hearing, Vision and Hidden Disabilities. Training is presented year-round.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) established the Michigan Autism Program in 2013 as part of the Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Administration. It is our goal to be a leader and partner in the support of individuals with autism, their families/caregivers and professionals serving individuals with autism spectrum disorder to lead a quality and fulfilling life. Opportunities for music education and music therapy are available to people of all ages with special needs. Through music programming at CMS, individuals with special needs have found joy, new friendships, and have made progress in the acquisition of motor, verbal, communication and social skills through music.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (D&HHS), is an independent agency serving Grand Rapids and surrounding areas. As the sole full-service agency for the Deaf and hard of hearing communities in West Michigan, D&HHS fills 4,000+ interpreter assignments annually, and provides further services through American Sign Language classes, cultural awareness and sensitivity training, equipment assistance and advocacy, and an educational and resources support program for deaf children in West Michigan.
