Our organization strives to provide families affected by Spina Bifida a support system that fosters a strong sense of community, raises awareness of the condition, advocates for each unique individual’s highest level of independence, and creates partnerships that promote Spina Bifida in a positive light. Members have access to a wide variety of events, resources, and scholarships.

Cheff Therapeutic Riding Center

The Cheff Therapeutic Riding Center strives to focus on what individuals can accomplish, not on what they cannot. Today, the Cheff Therapeutic Riding Center serves riders of all ages who have physical, emotional or cognitive disabilities. Cheff provides opportunities for Hippotherapy (Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy utilizing the horse as a treatment modality) and Therapeutic Horseback Riding.


Beekman Therapeutic Riding Center

Beekman Therapeutic Riding Center provides people of all abilities the opportunity to partner with horses through natural horsemanship, to inspire the spirit, heal the body, and nourish the soul in a safe, caring, four-season environment with nationally certified instructors and specially trained horses.


Autism Agricultural Community Option for Residential Need

The mission of the Autism Agricultural Community Option for Residential Need (AACORN) Farm is to provide life enrichment opportunities and residential options for adults with developmental disabilities in a supportive inclusive community. Their core values are (1) Promoting dignity and meaning in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities; (2) Cultivating a climate of mutual respect and understanding; (3) Encouraging fulfilling activities while building new skills; (4) Providing choices for those who receive few; (5) Supporting the development of peer relationships; (6) Making positive contributions to the community; and (7) Respecting the environment.

The Alexander Graham Bell Association (A.G. Bell) works to advocate, educate, and support the deaf and hard of hearing community, their families and the professionals who work with them.
