The mission of Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America - Michigan Chapter (AAFA-MI) is to improve quality of life for individuals and communities affected by asthma and allergic diseases through education, training, advocacy, medical management, and environmental greening.
Community Housing Network
The Community Housing Network (CHN) is committed to providing homes for people in need through proven strategies of homelessness prevention, housing assistance and development, community education and referral, advocacy, and additional services. CHN helps people who are homeless, people with disabilities, and anyone in housing crisis. The CHN Housing Resource Center, a one-stop-shop for all things housing, directs people to resources at CHN and other organizations.
Athletes with Disabilities Network – Northeast
Athletes with Disabilities Network - Northeast (ADN) mission is to promote a better quality of life for people with physical disabilities, especially for veterans and first responders by mentoring and creating awareness and offering opportunities for local athletic, recreational and educational activities. Programs include the Athletes with Disabilities Hall of Fame, Extremity Games, Mentoring & Outreach, Academic Scholarships and the Adaptive Sports Coalition.
FAR Conservatory
FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization that provides services for people of all ages who have physical, intellectual and/or emotional challenges. FAR also promotes public understanding of the abilities and potential of people with such challenges.
Circle of Food Allergic Families
Circle of Food Allergic Families (COFAF) is a volunteer parent-run support group that serves hundreds of families with children who suffer from food allergy and/or eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders. COFAF is based out of Oakland County but reaches hundreds of families from all over the greater-metropolitan Detroit area. COFAF support each other in many ways: parent meetings, family fun events, guest speakers, product discounts, newsletters, advocacy and so much more.
Autism Society of Oakland County
The Autism Society of Oakland County (ASOC) is an advocacy organization that works to improve the lives of those impacted by autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Oakland County, Michigan. ASOC mission is to advocate and support meaningful participation in all aspects of life for individuals with ASD and their families. One one of the support elements ASOC provides is the ASOC Online Community. The free community was created to provide a safe place for individuals withASD and their families to connect, share stories, support each other and build lasting friendships.
Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan
The Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan serves individuals with epilepsy and their families throughout the state of Michigan. The Foundation provides a variety of programs and services, including education and consultation services, an annual conference, individual and public policy advocacy, monthly educational conference calls, epilepsy awareness and first aid trainings, social and enrichment programs, self-management programs, and Camp Discovery. Through these services, Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan helps people with epilepsy to reach their goals while working to build a society that understands and supports them in their efforts.

Cerebral Palsy Families Together of Michigan (CPFTOM) is a cerebral palsy support group where families helping each other navigate cerebral palsy for themselves and their children. CPFTOM also educates about cerebral palsy, provides outings and meet-ups, and advocacy and fundraising events.
