A statewide resource to connect families of children with disabilities to resources to help improve their children’s education. Can assist you in knowing your rights, effectively communicating your child’s needs, and advising how to help them develop and learn. Their Parent Mentors can assist you in navigating the educational system and are knowledgeable about state and local resources.

Programs to Educate All Cyclists (PEAC) empowers individuals with disabilities through cycling, active transportation, and self-advocacy education.
Special Driving Services in a comprehensive and specialized driver education program for individuals who have physical and/or neurological impairments secondary to trauma or disease. Services are individualized and provided by qualified professionals. Adaptive equipment, if appropriate, is available.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) established the Michigan Autism Program in 2013 as part of the Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Administration. It is our goal to be a leader and partner in the support of individuals with autism, their families/caregivers and professionals serving individuals with autism spectrum disorder to lead a quality and fulfilling life. TRI is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides children and adults with disabilities with the opportunity to experience the joy of horseback riding. We offer group and private riding lessons, ground lessons (grooming, tacking, and showmanship), day tours and day programming for groups, and many more.

Developmental Enhancement (DE) Behavioral Health provides a wide array of behavioral health services for children and adolescents who may be experiencing developmental, behavioral or emotional difficulties. DE’s psychologists and social workers specialize in working with children, and have extensive training and a high level of expertise in both assessment and treatment. DE’s services are well-founded in an in-depth knowledge of how children develop and grow over time.
