A statewide resource to connect families of children with disabilities to resources to help improve their children’s education. Can assist you in knowing your rights, effectively communicating your child’s needs, and advising how to help them develop and learn. Their Parent Mentors can assist you in navigating the educational system and are knowledgeable about state and local resources.

Es un recurso estatal para conectar a las familias de los niños con discapacidad a los recursos para ayudar a mejorar la educación de sus hijos. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) established the Michigan Autism Program in 2013 as part of the Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Administration. Developmental Enhancement Behavioral Health

Developmental Enhancement (DE) Behavioral Health provides a wide array of behavioral health services for children and adolescents who may be experiencing developmental, behavioral or emotional difficulties. DE’s psychologists and social workers specialize in working with children, and have extensive training and a high level of expertise in both assessment and treatment. DE’s services are well-founded in an in-depth knowledge of how children develop and grow over time.
