Jump-In™ Therapy & Wellness Center Summer Camp

The Jump-In™ Therapy and Wellness Center's summer camp program focuses on improving foundation skills as opposed to a more cognitive or play model. The summer camp program utilizes a three-hour concentrated activity block of therapy to gain improvements in the neurological system. Campers’ activities involve the use of suspended equipment, gross motor activities, fine motor activities, social interaction, brain gym, language, body work, and pool time.All camp activities are held out of doors if the weather allows.

Manistique Community Treehouse Center

The Manistique Community Treehouse Center promotes the diversity of individuals in the local community, the mental and physical well-being of youth, and inclusion of people of all ages and abilities. The Treehouse provides programs with a unique focus on inclusion for persons with disabilities, the promotion of collaboration with multicultural understanding, and diversity in the counseling process. The Treehouse provides a safe, creative, supportive, learning environment through many programs.

The Braille and Talking Book Library

The Michigan BTBL provides free library service to Michigan residents who are unable to use standard print materials due to a visual or physical disability. Special format audio books and braille materials are mailed to eligible patrons free of charge. The Braille and Talking Book Library offers devices such as reading machines, closed-circuit televisions, and speech out put technologies for use in the library.
